Description: |
Irreverent yet affectionate mockumentary about two Canadian white-trash metalheads, Dean (Paul Spence) and Terry (David Lawrence), who devote their lives to drinking beer, listening to heavy metal, smashing up bus shelters - and generally aiming to achieve the nirvana of being 'f***ed up beyond all repair' as per the acronym of the film's title. Farrel Mitchner (Gordon Skilling), a yuppie documentary maker who has selected the mullet-haired, headbanging duo as the subject of his new film, trails them with camera crew in tow as they go about their daily lives. The film was premiered at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival. |
