Synopsis: |
This is the second of the Bernard Baker books. It is 1899 and our heroes Bernard Baker and his batman Sam are sent to fight the Boers in Kimberley, South Africa. The town is besieged and Bernard breaks the garrison commanders orders and takes the fight to the enemy as the Colonel had ordered. Bernard meets with a local tribe of Khoi warriors and, with the help of Sir Cecil Rhodes, they set about ambushing the Boer. |
