Buffalo and Detroit had the lowest median values.*Based on the 2010 census, Texas will gain 4 seats, Florida will gain 2 seats, while Washington, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Georgia, and South Carolina will each gain one seat in the House of Represenatives. *Although the population of Louisiana's 2nd district had grown by over 29 percent from 2007 to 2009, it remains the least populous congressional district in the nation due to outmigration after Hurricane Katrina.
