Ordering
Question : How do I order online as a UK educational institution, so that my school can be invoiced?
Answer : As a UK school, you can buy books, eBooks and DVDs through our website, all in a single transaction – and be invoiced.

You can search for items using the search options at the top of every page. The drop-down list will allow you to search by title, ISBN, author and several other options.

The availability of every item is shown in the search results. This information is updated throughout the day and night. If you want the full details on an item, click on its title in the search results.

Click ‘Buy’ to add the item to the shopping basket. The basket is always visible, so you can see your order as you are creating it. If you want to order more than one copy of an item, type the quantity required in the basket and hit the ‘Update’ button.

When you are ready to place your order, hit the ‘Go to Check-Out’ button in the shopping basket.

If you have ordered from Pickabook before, simply enter your email address and password in the box marked ‘I am a returning customer’. This will log you into your account and automatically retrieve your address details from your previous order(s).

If you are using the website for the first time, you will have to enter your school’s address details, together with an email address and password (which you create yourself). On the next page you can enter a separate delivery address, if you like, so that the items can be delivered to a particular person at the school.

Hit the ‘Go to Check-Out’ button. The next page will confirm all the details of your order. Click the ‘School Account’ button at the bottom right of the page.

On the next page, if you want us to quote a purchase-order number on the invoice which we will send to your finance department, please type the purchase-order number in the ‘Your order number’ box. This is optional (you can place an order without a purchase-order number). Click the box below to confirm that you are an employee of your school or college, and then click the ‘View Order’ button.

The next page will confirm the items in your basket and your school’s address. To complete the order, hit the ‘Confirm Order’ button at the bottom right of the page. The next page will confirm that your order has been placed.
