Question : |
Have I paid twice? |
Answer
: |
You may have hit the 'Send Payment' button twice on the payment page. Some customers may do this if they have experienced difficulties with their PC or internet connection, while they were trying to pay.
If you hit the 'Send payment' button twice, you are likely to be sent an e-mail confirmation of each transaction.
However, our systems are set to recognise when the 'Send Payment' button is hit twice in quick succession, providing that the order number is the same for both attempts. In this case, although you will receive an e-mail confirmation of both transactions, your card should be charged for only the first transaction, and your order will be processed only once. You will also receive only one copy of our next e-mail acknowledging the full details of your order.
If you place two or more orders with different order numbers, you will be charged for each order, and each order will be processed.
If you have placed an order in error, and you spot your mistake before we begin processing your order, you may be able to cancel it in the Order Status(es) area in your Account on our website.
