Question : Is paying for books from your website safe?
 Answer :
Paying for books from our website is exceptionally secure.

After you have added your items to the basket and supplied your address(es), you will be passed to a page which will ask you to select your delivery option and to confirm the details of your order. When you hit the 'Proceed to Pay' button, you will be transferred to one of a number of secure servers which is protected by a managed firewall. You will then be asked to submit your credit- or debit-card details. These details will be encrypted, before they are verified by the bank.  Encryption prevents your details being seen by anyone else online.

Every transaction will also be checked by our own fraud-control systems.

The card authentication system which is used by Pickabook has been approved for use by Pickabook by a major UK and world bank.

We do not store customers' card details.

If you have a query about paying online, or if you would like help paying online, please phone us on +44 (0)1242 308801 during UK office hours.
