This catalogue contains descriptions of books acquired by the Department of Oriental Manuscripts and Printed Books of the British Museum, later the Oriental Collections of the British Library, between 1893 and 1960. Most of the works acquired were also printed during this period, although there are also some earlier and rare examples from the earliest days of printing.
