Synopsis: |
Achilla Johnson doesn't know her father. Her mother, Ailina Harris, tells her that he is a rich lawyer who pays for his new family but ignores her. She tells Achilla that she is superior to everyone, including him, and that she should use her special abilities to lord over the weak. Achilla believes her until Brendan Johnson takes her in, and she finds out that everything Ailina says about him is a lie. Achilla learns that there is more to the world, her father, and herself than what her mother has taught her. There is also a lot more to Ailina than she could have ever prepared for. Achilla must choose a side, and both come with a heavy price. With all of her power, Achilla doesn't know if she is strong enough to bear the weight of her decision and the fight that it brings. If she loses, Achilla and Brendan may not live to regret her choice. Achilla the Strong is the first novel of The Nephilim Chronicles. |
