Description: |
Reviewing and rating the foremost shops and stores, this guide utilises the opinions of the people who know best - shoppers who have been to these places and are happy to share their unbiased opinions on what they found. |
Synopsis: |
For twenty-four years, Zagat Survey has reported on the shared experiences of diners, travellers and, of late, golfers, movie goers and nightlife enthusiasts. Now, we're proud to bring you the ultimate guide to shopping in New York. By surveying thousands of people, we hope to have achieved a uniquely current and accurate guide, one that will lead shoppers to new finds as well as reliably smart, self-assured decisions. This edition covers well over 2,000 establishments ranging from fashion to furniture. To make sure this guide is up-to-moment, we've also included some places that have not been rated yet. The covered in the book were rated separately on the quality of the merchandise, presentation and service by 7,200 surveyors, who shop on average 2.75 time a week (adding up to more thana million trips a year!). Of those reviewers 72 per cent were women and only 28 per cent were men, the breakdown by age is 34 per cent in their 20s; 30 per cent 30s; 16 per cent 40s; 14 per cent 50s and 6 per cent 60s and above. |
