AUTHOR: Dr. Antony Wood has been Executive Director of the Council since 2006. Based at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Dr. Wood is a Research Professor in the College of Architecture and is also a Visiting Professor of Tall Buildings at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Tongji University, Shanghai. His field of specialism is the design, and in particular the sustainable design, of tall buildings. Prior to his tenure with CTBUH, Dr. Wood worked as an architect in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and London.
