Warum DDR-Journalisten so schnell das "Kaderwelsch" ablegten, wieso die Treuhandanstalt bei der Privatisierung der ostdeutschen Verlage so kurzsichtig verfuhr und weshalb es in Ost und West immer noch zwei verschiedene Offentlichkeiten gibt, untersucht der Autor am Beispiel der regionalen 'Berliner Zeitung', der uberregionalen Tageszeitung 'Junge Welt' und der (1990 aus dem ostdeutschen 'Sonntag' und der westdeutschen 'Volkszeitung' hervorgegangenen) Ost-West-Wochenzeitung 'Freitag'. Dabei werden uber 2700 Leitartikel und Kommentare analysiert sowie Experteninterviews und Archivalien ausgewertet. |
