Der Schutz der Gesundheit verlangt medizinischen Fortschritt und die tatsachliche Verfugbarkeit von Spitzenmedizin. Allerdings werden damit zusammenhangende Ausgabensteigerungen angesichts der "Kostendampfungsmaxime" oft als Fehlentwicklung wahrgenommen. Der Aufsatzband stellt diese Maxime interdisziplinar auf den Prufstand. Autorinnen und Autoren aus Rechts- und Wirtschaftswissenschaft, aus Medizinethik und medizinischer und juristischer Praxis erortern, ob Sozialrecht und medizinische Ethik die Vermeidung von Innovationshemmnissen fordern. Volkswirtschaftlichen Wachstumseffekten eines innovationsfreundlichen Gesundheitssystems wird nachgegangen, ebenso der Zahlungsbereitschaft der Versichertengemeinschaft fur Innovationen und dem Stellenwert des Gutes "Gesundheit" aus Sicht der Bevolkerung. Mit Blick auf die politische Durchsetzbarkeit wird diskutiert, ob eine Akzeptanz sichernde Implementation von Gesundheitsreformmanahmen gelingen kann. |
