W.C. Fields makes a rare silent screen appearance in this adaptation of Dorothy Donnelly's stage success 'Poppy'. Loveable conman Professor Eustace McGargle (Fields) is forced to take orphaned waif Sally (Carol Dempster) under his wing, adopting her as his own daughter.
