| Description: |
Romantic comedy starring Virginia Williams as Shannon: a jilted bride who decides to take her mother, Marla (Shelley Long), on her honeymoon. Even though the relationship between mother and daughter is kind of complicated, Shannon is not prepared to miss out on her Caribbean break. Once there, however, it appears Marla's motives for going along on the trip are work-related and she has a hidden agenda. She is a gossip magazine editor determined to get a scoop on Nick (Jack Scalia), the owner of the resort where they are staying. He is an attractive ex-astronaut who has become a hermit and Marla happens to have a vulnerable broken-hearted daughter to lure him out of hiding. |
