Description: |
Teen triple. 'Bandslam' (2009) stars Vanessa Hudgens of 'High School Musical' fame. Will Burton (Gaelan Connell) is a huge music fan who is at a new school and trying to fit in, so when he is asked by Charlotte (Alyson Michalka) to get involved with her band he can't refuse. Charlotte gets the band together to compete in the battle of the bands competition, Bandslam, against her ex-boyfriend's band. As the unlikely combo practice and romance blossoms between Will and guitarist Sam (Hudgens), it becomes clear they have what it takes to make it, just as long as they all stick together. Emma Roberts stars in the teen comedy 'Wild Child' (2008). When pampered LA princess Poppy Moore (Roberts) is sent off to a strict English boarding school after pushing her indulgent father too far with an over-the-top prank, she decides to do everything she can to get expelled from the school as quickly as possible - including snogging the son of the headmistress, Mrs Kingsley (Natasha Richardson). But would the rebellious Poppy really go so far as to burn down the entire school to get her way? 'Honey' (2003) is the debut feature from music video director Bille Woodruff, starring Jessica Alba as Honey Daniels, an ordinary girl who works in her local record store and teaches dance classes at the community centre. At the weekends she goes dancing at the nightclubs downtown, where she meets Michael Ellis (David Moscow), a music video producer who gives her the chance to work for him as a choreographer - her dream job. But it soon materialises that he has his own agenda, with which Honey is unwilling to comply. Guest stars include Missy Elliott, Jay-Z and Tweet as themselves. |
