Description: |
Triple-bill of early Hollywood westens, starring Gary Cooper, John Wayne and Gene Autry. 'Fighting Caravans' (1931) sees Cooper playing a petty criminal fleeing to California on a wagon trail, who finds redemption when he helps the other passengers against the dangers of their journey. In 'Randy Rides Alone' (1934) Wayne stars as a drifter framed for some violent murders who is helped by a young woman to clear his name, while in 'Man of the Frontier' (1936) musical cowboy Autry investigates a halted dam construction project and discovers a planned payroll robbery. |
