It has support for controlled assessment integrated throughout and exciting and easy-to-use software. The Assessment OxBox CD-ROM provides a wealth of assessment. It includes auto-marked listening, reading and grammar assessments for each unit, 'intelligent' formative listening and reading tests which direct students to different questions depending on their responses and formative tests which provide feedback and study tips, encouraging students to reflect on their learning. There are practice controlled assessment tasks for writing and speaking (in the form of Record & Playback activities) in every unit. The Assessment OxBox allows teachers to assign tests to whole classes or to individual students, access automatically-generated test reports on whole-class performance in an assessment or individual test question and view breakdowns of individual students' performance, to identify any particular problem areas. |
