Paperspresentedattheconferencestronglyreflectedtheconferencetheme. Of165 paperssubmitted,99werepresentedattheconference,representinganacceptancerateofapproximately 60%. Allpaperswerepeerreviewedby3or4referees(atotalof543reviewreportsweresubmitted, correspondingtoanaverageof3. 29reviewsperpaper).Overthecourseof3days,28papersessionswereheld,coveringarangeofareassuchas"Information SystemsEngineering&Management","BusinessSystemsAnalysis&Design","IntelligentInformation Systems","AgileandHigh-SpeedSystemsDevelopmentMethods","EnterpriseSystemsDevelopment& Adoption","PublicInformationSystemsDevelopment","InformationSystemsDevelopmentEducation", "Information Systems Development in Developing Nations", "Legal and Administrative Aspects of InformationSystemsDevelopment","InformationSystemsResearchMethodologies","Service-Oriented AnalysisandDesignofInformationSystems","ITServiceManagement","PhilosophicalandTheoretical IssuesinInformationSystemsDevelopment","Model-drivenEngineeringinISD","HumanComputer Interaction(HCI)inInformationSystemsDevelopment". Thebookisorganisedbyorderoftheconference sessions. Whileallthepresentedpaperswereofhighquality,wehaveselectedtwoofthemtosharetheBest Paper Award. The first one is "Modeling the contribution of enterprise architecture practice to the achievementofbusinessgoals"byMarliesvanSteenbergenandSjaakBrinkkemper. Thesecondoneis "Whycan'twebetonISDOutcomes?:ISD'Form'asaPredictorofSuccess"byMikeNewman,ShanL PanandGaryPan.Furthermore,toacknowledgethequalityofthereviewshecompleted,thequality ofthepaperhesubmitted,hisroleasatrackandsessionchair,andhisgeneralparticipationinthe conference,wehaveawardedanOverallContributionAwardtoMichaelLangoftheNationalUniversity of Ireland, Galway.
