Synopsis: |
This title contains 4 CDs. It is a full production CD set in a theatre play format with a narrator, actors, music, and sound effects. "Flowers for Beth" is a compassionate and amusing story, set in play form, of a charming, motherless girl who, at the brink of maturity, faces a tragedy in an abrupt manner. This parallels the life of her dear father. Perhaps the similarity in their tragedies can be traced through their proximity to a bewitched garden that contains a sylphlike spirit, quite as beautiful as the heroine, Beth, herself. Beth and her paramour, Butch, Zoro, or Windom (as he is variously called) share a strange bond. As a small child, Beth had a kidney transplant. The kidney belonged to Windom. |
