Synopsis: |
When the former deputy town marshal, Frank Calland, helps out another saddle-tramp whom he finds stranded without food or water in the Arizona desert, he doesn't know what he is getting himself into. Before he knows it, Calland is being pursued by an angry posse. This is only the beginning of Calland's dramas. Once again he finds himself donning the lawman's star as deputy to Marshal Bill Riggs, who seems to be hiding a dark secret from his past. Calland is thrown into the deep end and must take responsibility when Jay Seaton's band of ruthless outlaws arrives in the town of Santa Carmelita. Fresh from the recent war, they are bloodthirsty for revenge. |
