Causes explored include weather and harvest sensitivity to meteorological stress; the technical transformation of agriculture; market development and integration of markets; the growth of state power; and statistical anomalies and aberrations.By evaluating the relative importance of these categories and analyzing the available data, an overview of foodcrop production variability in China is presented and a forecast of future trends predicted. |
