This book will interrogate and evaluate the association of rights with ideas about freedom and justice by looking at real struggles, incorporating fights for national liberation against colonialism, socialism against capitalism and the experiences of social movements in the First, Second and Third worlds. With a focus on strategy and tactics for the left, it covers different forms of rights, including property rights, democratic rights and the concerning actions of the IMF. |
