This committee report contains four papers that were presented at a special technical session, "Evaluation of Bituminous Materials Mix-Design & Superpave," of the Conference to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of ASCE in Washington, D.C. on November 3, 2002. These papers discuss bituminous materials in mix-design, the future of asphalt pavements, modified asphalt binders, and quality control and assurance.
