He was assaulted by five Police Offices from the Lothian and Borders Force and then charged with resiting arrest. The charge relates solely to his time in the holding area of St. Leonards Road Police Station. He was there for 14 seconds. Although CCTV footage shows clearly that he did not resist arrest his complaint was dismissed [by Lothian & Borders Police] and the Chief Constable refuses to acknowledge that his officers broke the law. |
