Synopsis: |
To Hold a Storm follows the increasingly unlikely and surreal adventures of Daniel Moorcroft as he journeys by himself through the wilderness of British Columbia. At the same time the story of Daniels life is narrated. He had a troubled upbringing, and spent time in a care home. He joined the army where his ability was spotted and he ended up in the SAS. During a long and brutal carear Daniel witnessed, was a victim of and committed atrocities. As winter approaches Daniels shelter and food supplies are destroyed by a bear, but just as death looks inevitable Daniel is saved by a family of Indians, living as if Europeans had never arrived in North America. |
