The book is an account of Steven Froelich's trip to Russia in the Spring of 2006 which had him consuming so much alcohol and drugs that he decides to set off for Cuba. On arrival in Havana, he discovers it is illegal to be in Cuba with no money and finds himself incarcerated in Havana City Jail. In prison, he makes friends with the other inmates from Haiti, Dominica, Afghanistan and Colombia before he is finally released and celebrates his freedom at Havana airport. Moscow to Havana is the memoir of a comic holiday in hell with illustrations by Oscar Zarate. |
