Description: |
I have travelled in Africa as part of my work: training young people in radio broadcasting. My diary includes: The joys of travel in Africa; life-styles; people's generosity, enthusiasm, diversity; Church life; God moments. My goal for this book is to encourage supporters with regard to the astonishing grace of God at large in today's world. |
Synopsis: |
Over the past 25+ years, I have had the privilege of travelling in a number of African countries as part of my ongoing work: training people in the area of radio production. Right from the beginning, I had been sending fairly detailed accounts of these journeys, initially for the benefit of my family at home. We kept the airmail letters and emails from most of the trips and the idea of turning these accounts into a 'story' began to take shape. It is not an autobiography but rather a testimony to God's amazing grace which we have experienced through many very different situations - hence the title. |
