Jim was the official photographer at the Monterey and Woodstock Festivals, the only photographer at the famous Johnny Cash San Quentin concert and at The Beatles final performance at Candlestick Park in San Francisco in August 1966. His work appears on over 500 album covers and many of his iconic photographs have become part of rock 'n' roll history. Now for the first time, photographs from Jim's extensive colour archive are published in book form, offering a fresh insight into the work of this renowned photographer and a new look at some of the great figures in music history. |
