The scope will be a broad, contemporary review of the current status of the art for stem cell utilities in the biopharmaceutical research sector, with emphasis on technology strengths, challenges to resolve and prospects for future development. It will provide cutting edge opinion from academic and industrial leaders in the sector. The book's objectives include an overview of the fundamental science and technology components that underpin the utilities, an in depth review of the strength of the technology using representative biopharmaceutical pipeline and case studies covering key therapeutic/development areas (oncology, cardio-vascular, neuroscience, safety pharmacology) and prediction of advanced applications (disease modelling, regenerative medicine).
