Synopsis: |
The book is by Cap'n Jimbo, a Springer Spaniel (dog) and a member of the AKC (American Kennel Club). The story was 'told' to Roger Chapman. Jimbo lived with Roger and his wife, Marie, for 14 years. The humorous story explores the important role that Jimbo played in his family's life. Jimbo's friends had a taught him about the great outdoors. He loved to sail with his family. In fact, he became a very good sailor. He also loved to hike and take walks on the beach. At one time Jimbo sired a litter of puppies. There's a funny photo of him with a big grin. Jimbo loved to go trick or treating on Halloween and people gave him dog biscuits and cookies. He also loved to ride in Marie's MG. |
