A story of magic, myth and midnight adventure. When Oliver Mackenzie Brown and his family move to Gullywith Farm, where no one has lived for years, he just can't imagine ever being happy there. It seems to be jinxed. the roof leaks, walls collapse - but even more strangely, small stones keep appearing in very unexpected places. Stones with ancient markings on them. Olly thinks they are angry about something. He makes friend with a local girl whose only name seems to be KK, and she takes him to see the mysterious Nonny Dreever, to ask for his advice. As they search for the answer to Gullywith's secret, Olly finds himself entering a magic-filled world deep inside the surrounding hills. What is the ancient power that controls the stones and can anything be done to end their hold over Gullywith? |
