HFMA's bestselling guide for over 20 years, the Introductory Guide - NHS Finance is suitable for all levels of finance staff and anyone with an interest in NHS finance. This new 11th edition, as with previous versions, provides an easy to read, straightforward but comprehensive source of advice and guidance for readers from an array of backgrounds. Building on earlier editions of the guide, this edition has been revamped and restructured to reflect the new look NHS brought in by the Health and Social Care Act 2012. In particular, it aims to set out clearly the responsibilities and accountabilities of each of the key players in the new regime and explains what their role is in relation to NHS finance and governance and how they fit together. As with previous editions, the guide aims to make the workings and language of NHS Finance more accessible.
