From the club's formation in 1867 to the Premier League era, the Hillsborough faithful have witnessed League and Cup triumphs, promotions and relegations, hard times and hard-fought local derbies - all featured here. Timeless greats such as Benito Carbone, Peter Swan and Derek Dooley, Terry Curran, Roland Nilsson and Mark Smith all loom larger than life. Revisit 3rd May 1930, when the Owls beat Man City 5-1, winning the League title with record points and goals scored. 13th August 1961: the club's first ever pre-season friendly, a 2-1 win against Ajax. Or 21st April 1991: underdog victory at Wembley in the League Cup against Man U. |
