It develops effective learning strategies that can be applied to other languages and across the curriculum. Topics introduced in Hexagonie, Year 8 range from going on holiday, leisure activities and food and drink to time, school life and activities at home. Language points covered include: ce/cet/cette/ces; adjectives, avoir and etre in the present tense; asking questions; possessives; parler and other regular verbs in the present tense; aller in the present tense and faire in the present tense.
