Synopsis: |
This collection tells a story of the annual cycle of life, month by month, through a series of poems and images based on observations made of the Downs and Avon Gorge. It is an attempt to communicate an amalgam of some of these principles and ideas. This sounds, and clearly is, a grandiose ambition for such a small and untutored volume but my hope is that the words and images will raise awareness in a few readers, and especially in the young who are the future and who hold the keys to building on the good things we have done with their world and putting right the mistakes we have made. |
