Even throughout the horrors of the First World War and into the uncertain 1920s, the Richardsons demonstrated a love for Chastleton above and beyond normal tenants. The legacy of their passion for the place is evident in the buildings and gardens now admired by visitors and maintained by the National Trust. This book charts the life and times of the Richardsons during their time living at Chastleton.
