Das Fruhneuhochdeutsche Worterbuch ist ein alphabetisch geordnetes Bedeutungsworterbuch der Varietaten des Hochdeutschen des 14. bis 17. Jahrhunderts. Die Artikel sind wie folgt aufgebaut: Nach dem Lemma stehen kurze flexionsmorphologische Angaben und (bei etymologisch isolierten bzw. schwer zuordenbaren Wortern) knappe Hinweise auf die Etymologie. Diesen Positionen schliet sich - nach Zahlen geordnet -als Kernstuck jedes Artikels die Erlauterung der Einzelbedeutungen eines Wortes an. Zeit-, Raum- und Textsortenangaben informieren uber die wesentlichen Dimensionen, in denen ein Wort pro Bedeutung gilt. Die kumulative Nennung bedeutungsverwandter Worter und typischer syntagmatischer Kontexte vermittelt einen Einblick in die strukturellen Wortschatzzusammenhange. Ein ausfuhrlicher Belegblock pro Bedeutung fuhrt das Wort beispielhaft in seinen originalen Verwendungsweisen vor. |
