"Die Organisation der Welt" - so lautet der Titel einer 1909 in Leipzig erschienenen Schrift von Walther Schucking, in der die Utopie der vernunftigen Organisierbarkeit der Welt, hier im Sinne des Weltfriedens, programmatisch artikuliert wird. Organisierbarkeit lasst sich als tragende Ideologie der Moderne entziffern, die sich wie die Marktideologie teils als wohlmeinende Utopie, teils aber als Verdunkelung von Herrschaftsstrukturen in die Denk- und Praxisformen eingegraben hat. Die in diesem Band gesammelten Artikel sollen einen Beitrag zur kritischen Analyse sowohl des Topos als auch der Praxisform der Organisation als moderne Form der Herrschaft leisten. "Organisation" ist namlich kein verallgemeinerungsfahiger Modus konsensueller Handlungskoordination, sondern ein Modus der Regulation extroverser Zugriffsweisen auf menschliche Ko-Operation.
