Zu konstatieren ist ein Trend zur Eventisierung des Lebens in der Gegenwartsgesellschaft schlechthin. Der Begriff "Eventisierung" bezeichnet zum einen die Verspaung von immer mehr Bereichen unseres sozialen Lebens mit einer bestimmten Art kultureller Erlebnisangebote, zum anderen das Machen konkreter Events - sowohl durch Anreicherung kultureller Traditionsveranstaltungen mit zusatzlichen Verlustierungselementen als auch durch strategische Neuschopfungen von Unterhaltungsformaten fur moglichst viele Menschen. Illustriert wird dieser Befund anhand konkreter Studien zum Weltjugendtag (2005 in Koln), zur Kulturhauptstadt ("Metropole Ruhr" 2010) und zur Loveparade - bis hin zu deren dusterem Ende (Duisburg 2010). Die Zeitdiagnose mundet in die Frage, ob (auch) "Eventisierung" moglicherweise ein "Juggernaut" ist. |
