Synopsis: |
This booklet contains the password information needed to access the on-line proceedings of MIRO '95. MIRO '95 was based around work carried out as part of an international project on Multimedia Information Retrieval (ESPRIT Basic Research Action No: 6576). The project - which included participants from most of the leading research groups in European IR - aimed to define the theoretical foundations of the next generation of multimedia information retrieval systems. The papers presented at the workshop cover a wide range of issues in information retrieval (IR), including speech processing, image and graphics retrieval, information visualisation, and logic. Many of the papers have a strong practical bias, describing currently-implemented systems for retrieval. The full papers from MIRO '95 are available on-line at: http://www.springer.co.uk/eWiC/Workshops/MIRO95.html This booklet provides the passwords needed to access the web site. Purchasing the booklet provides the user with unlimited access to the site for four years (subject, of course, to entry of the correct passwords each time). |
