Das gilt in besonderem Masse dann, wenn es darum geht, systematische Menschenrechtsverletzungen eines diktatorischen Regimes nach dessen Ende rechtlich aufzuarbeiten. Die politischen Entscheidungen, die hier zu treffen sind und deren Rahmen sich schlagwortartig durch die Alternative Versoehnung oder Bestrafung kennzeichnen laesst, muessen sich zugleich an den Massstaeben von Recht und Gerechtigkeit messen lassen (Transitional Justice). Dieser Band dokumentiert die Beitraege zu einem deutsch-brasilianischen Symposium zum Thema Transitional Justice, das im Juli 2012 an der Goethe-Universitaet Frankfurt am Main stattfand. Kooperationspartner war unter anderem die Amnestiekommission des brasilianischen Justizministeriums. |
