Ist es der Sinn, der alles wirkt und schafft? Es sollte stehn: Im Anfang war die Kraft! Doch, auch indem ich dieses niederschreibe, Schon warnt mich was, dass ich dabei nicht bleibe. Mir hilft der Geist! auf einmal seh' ich Rat Und schreibe getrost: , Im Anfang war die Tat!'" Als ich in hohem Alter und durch Krankheit schwer behindert den Entschluss fasste, mich noch einmal wie schon so oft zuvor an das Allergieproblem heranzuwagen, kamen mir diese Verse vor Augen, die Goethe seinen Faust sprechen lasst, und es eroffnete sich mir die Ein sicht, dass auch ich nichts anderes, vielleicht auch nichts Besseres tun konnte, als vom Wort zum Sinn, vom Sinn zur Kraft und von der Kraft zur Tat fortzuschreiten.
