Der vorliegende Atlas umfasst das Aussenohr, das Mittel- und das Innenohr sowie das Os temporale und seine Nachbarschaftsbeziehungen. Beim Aussenohr sind die Entwicklung und die Entwicklungsstorungen, Knorpel, Hautgebiete, Bander, Gefasse und Nerven sowie der Meatus acusticus externus dargestellt. Die Entwicklung des Mittelohrs, die Bandapparate und Muskeln der Gehorknochelchen und insbesondere die Gefasse, Faltenbildungen und Recessus wurden detailliert untersucht. Ein eigenes Kapitel umfasst die Tuba auditiva und deren Nachbarschaft, ein weiteres die Cellulae mastoideae, deren Tractus und ihre arztliche Bedeutung. Am Innenohr wird nach Entwicklungsvorgangen auf Entwicklungsschaden eingegangen. Dieses Kapitel umfasst auch die Topographie der Nn. VII, intermedius und VIII sowie Kanalsysteme und Knochenbau. Abschliessend werden die Zugangswege zum Kleinbruckenwinkel, zum Meatus acusticus internus und einige weitere Zugange geschildert.
