This is an insightful exploration of the lie and works of the two most important Spanish architects of the late 20th-century. 2013 marks centenary of the birth of Miguel Fisac and Alejandro de la Sota - two of the most important Spanish architects of the second half of the twentieth century. Miguel Fisac's work spans six decades and includes the construction of more than 300 projects, but is best known for his revolutionary work with concrete. Alejandro de la Sota is an award-winning architect whose work combined elements of geometric rigour with bold structural styling. Both these great architects established themselves, and their unique architectural visions, during a time when the Franco regime was attempting to impose imperial classicism.
