Synopsis: |
These volumes of "Material Science Forum" contain selected papers presented in the Sixth International Symposium on Electrochemical Methods in Corrosion Research. The focal points was the industrial application of electrochemical methods for corrosion testing and monitoring as well as for corrosion prediction, prevention and control. Special emphasis was placed on the availability and reliability of test methods for improving the quality ofmetallic materials and their industrial applicability, as well as on the equipment to be used to this end. Nevertheless, fundamental research was also covered by a large number of papers. The volumes should of value to corrosion scientists, technologists and technicians, and others working in established areas related to corrosion mechanisms, corrosion protection, corrosion testing and monitoring. They should also provide an up-to-date guide to new or improved electrochemical methods for research, as well as the latest results obtained using currently available electrochemical methods. |
