These volumes of "Material Science Forum" contain selected papers presented in the Sixth International Symposium on Electrochemical Methods in Corrosion Research. The focal points was the industrial application of electrochemical methods for corrosion testing and monitoring as well as for corrosion prediction, prevention and control. Special emphasis was placed on the availability and reliability of test methods for improving the quality ofmetallic materials and their industrial applicability, as well as on the equipment to be used to this end.
