Synopsis: |
Providing a clear set of instructions, recommendations and advice, this is a guide for schools and colleges to the issues they need to address in the educational e-world.There have been tremendous developments in e-activites within schools and colleges, and until the mid 1990s, teachers and leaders in some schools with a keen interest in IT pushed out the boundaries of the educational e-world. New case law and additional legislation regularly reshape the landscape of e-activity; data protection, contract, copyright and defamation can apply in the e-context. Additionally, there is a growing wealth of expertise and good practice in managing e-education. This booklet aims to create more awareness of these issues. It also covers e-mail, newsgroups and chatrooms. |
