Synopsis: |
Data Miners (Australia) is the second in the Data Miners series. James Grenfield was forced to part from his first love Marianne and heartbroken he left Norway to return to England and his Company the Data Miners. He decided to lose himself in his work. He remembered that he had received a request from the University of Tasmania to carry out an archaeological survey in the bush to the north of Tasmania. Also the Association of Chief Police Officers in the UK had offered letters of introduction to the various police forces in Australia. James decided to take advantage of these invitations and to open a branch of his Company in Australia. Taking some of his UK staff he moved to Hobart in Tasmania and set up his new Company. The archaeological surveys were a great success. He turned his attention to the Tasmanian State Police and set up a demonstration of his equipment and methods. The Mark 1 equipment caused great interest from the forensic branch and he was invited to demonstrate the more versatile Mark 2 and locate a grave that, although suspected to be in a park area, could not be found. Before leaving Data Miners (Australia) for the UK and his parent company James was asked to survey the Northern coast of Australia and assist in the location of the suspected caches.. |
