The singer Paul McCartney celebrated the age of 70, without thinking too much about his legendary past, just a few months after a new marriage and a new album release. Retirement from music is not a part of the famous British singer's plans. After his impeccable performance in the giant pop-rock concert recently held in London to mark the diamond jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, Paul McCartney was the headline of the official opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics on July 27 2012. "Since I really like what I do, why would I retire?" said McCartney in an interview for a music magazine. Then he added: "People tell me: But we don't work hard, we simply make music.". The British singer has seen fulfilled one of his childhood dreams, becoming an animated character in the latest issue of the printed comic The Dandy, one of his favorite publications. |
